The City of Henderson is known for having a hot desert climate. This means that the summers are hot, but humidity is usually quite low. Average high temperatures in July can exceed 100 degrees, so it is important that homeowners stay safe from the heat by having an efficient air conditioning system in place. While average high temperatures during the winter are usually in the mid-50s, cold snaps with snow are possible, so homeowners will need to also have a heat pump or furnace in place to stay comfortable.
