Our History
The Beginning
Stan and Alice Gordon moved to Las Vegas in 1993 to create “the best mechanical contracting company in the state.” They worked tirelessly and soon they had their first contract for 150 new homes.
News of Sunrise’s excellent workmanship and warm “curbside manner” spread like wildfire. In little more than a decade, Sunrise was installing HVAC systems in over 5000 new tract and custom homes each year—roughly 25% of the Las Vegas area’s new home construction. They also opened new branches dedicated to residential HVAC and plumbing services.
Continued Excellence
In 2024, long-time partners Matt Ballard and David Brown took the reins of Sunrise. With three decades of industry experience between them, they are driven to improve the business even further, expanding Sunrise’s residential and commercial operations.
Building upon the foundation of excellence established by the Gordons, Sunrise continues to be one of Las Vegas’ premier contractors and repair services. In our 30+ years, we have worked in over 100,000 homes and businesses, including providing heating installation services in Boulder City and throughout the region.
